Hi, I'm Milan.
I'm the photographer behind Chapter We, and I believe every relationship is a story written in small moments.
The name comes from a simple idea: the day "you" and "me" become "we" is the start of a whole new chapter. Whether that's a wedding, an engagement, a graduation with the family who got you there or a room full of people waiting to find out if it's a boy or a girl, those chapters deserve to be remembered beautifully.
I'm based in Vancouver and I photograph people across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Sea-to-Sky. My style is soft, natural and warm. I chase golden hour, I keep things relaxed and I give just enough direction that you never feel stiff, then I step back and let the real moments happen.

Calm direction, real moments.
Most people tell me they're awkward in front of a camera. Honestly, that's my favourite starting point. I'll give you simple prompts, a reason to laugh and somewhere to put your hands, and within a few minutes you'll forget I'm there.
On event days I move quietly through the room, watching for the hug, the happy tears and the grandparent wiping their glasses. Those are the photos you'll go back to in twenty years.
